How these lists were sorted

Families are sorted by the breadth of the written stat line and whether the Family can do the job it claims. Perks are sorted by the role they cover, with Mythics that define a build in S. Shifters separate wide raid clear from forms that need more of the player. Update 5 Vessels move shifter results enough that an October ranking which put Attack Titan at the bottom is not repeated here as a current fact.

S tier

familiesFritzMythical shifter Family with party Gold and XP, raid damage, cooldown reduction, and extra defense and support slots.

Player decision Keep for any account that will shift. It is the widest written stat line.

familiesHelosMythical ODM and Thunder Spear Family with raid damage, crit, control, gas, range, speed, and an extra boost dash.

Player decision Keep if you will stay on gear rather than a Titan form. One raid note says Colossal Serum does not accept Helos.

A tier

familiesAckermanLegendary blade Family. It cannot shift. It adds damage, crit, raid damage, ODM resources, a boost dash, and an offense perk slot.

Player decision Best documented pure ODM Family. Do not take it if the goal is Beast or Colossal.

familiesYeagerLegendary Attack Titan Family with less shift cooldown, Attack Titan stats, crit chance, and a defense perk slot.

Player decision Keep for an Attack Titan route, especially once Vessels are available.

familiesReissLegendary support Family with Titan stats, XP, cheaper upgrades, party XP, and a support perk slot.

Player decision Keep for a party or long upgrade plan. It is not the highest personal damage line.

B tier

familiesLeonhartEpic Female Titan Family with Titan run speed, Female stats, and damage.

Player decision Hold if you are farming the Female raid. Replace it for a general ODM account.

familiesArlertEpic Colossal Family with nuke radius, Colossal stats, and crit chance.

Player decision Hold specifically for the Colossal raid.

familiesKsaverEpic Beast Titan Family with damage, Beast stats, and ODM range.

Player decision The documented Family match for the Update 5 Beast route.

familiesBraunEpic Armored Family with damage reduction, Armored stats, and health.

Player decision Useful while learning the boat phase.

familiesTyburEpic Family with shift duration, Warhammer stats, and Gold gain. Playable Warhammer shifting is still unconfirmed.

Player decision Keep for Gold and duration. Do not buy it as a finished Warhammer build.

familiesGalliardEpic Jaw-leaning Family with Titan attack speed, Jaw stats, and crit damage. A playable Jaw shift is not established in the Update 5 notes.

Player decision A stat stick for faster Titan attacks, not a confirmed Jaw unlock.

[UPDATE 5] Attack on Titan Revolution ranking questions

What should a new player do first?

Pick one character slot, finish the opening movement practice, join the AoTR [PI] group for the stated +5% XP and +5% Gold, then redeem codes before you spend Spins. Upgrade Damage, Speed, and Control before you chase raids.

Does a Family decide the whole account?

A Family is a permanent passive and, at Rare and above, often a skill. You can keep more than one and switch from the loadout. A Legendary that matches your weapon is more useful than a Mythical you cannot play.

When did Update 5 release?

Public reports of the Roblox event listing put Update 5, called Spooky Season, at 31 Oct 2026, 16:00 UTC. The same reports say the listing itself ran until 7 Nov 2026, 16:00 UTC. The shifter, Vessels, and Freedom difficulty stay after that listing window.

How do Divine Perks differ from Mythic Perks?

Update 5 added Divine as a new rarity above Mythic. Player tutorials say they are forged from Divine Fragments dropped on Freedom difficulty, not pulled as a normal perk drop. Body can hold one without a capstone; Offense, Defense, and Support need that path's capstone.

Which Titan should I unlock first?

Attack Serum is the usual first shifter project. Colossal is the widest raid clear once you can enter its raid, and Beast Serum is the Update 5 project. Ackerman and Zoe are documented as unable to shift, so do not farm a serum on those Families.
