Before you queue
Raids are phase fights, not longer missions. Hard asks for about a C- grade, Severe for B, and Aberrant for A. You need enough damage credit to open the chest. Raids do not pay the mission streak gems that normal missions do.
Bring bandages or a support player, a resupply tool for long phases, and the Family that matches the boss if you have one. Emperor Keys are for Emperor's Trove, which has the higher serum chance in the published table.
Attack Titan raid
Phase 1 protects Eren from pure Titans. Phase 2 is the Attack Titan boss. Punches, Corkscrew, Uppercut, and Brutal Stomp show up across difficulties. Roar is on higher difficulties, Hardening from Severe up, and Berserk on Aberrant. ODM damage belongs on the nape or the skull, not on the legs.
Armored Titan raid
Phase 1 defends rescue boats while a Courage shield is up. The boat count and the fail state scale with difficulty. Damage the shield takes carries a punishment into phase 2. Earth Breaker is the move to leave early. The Jötunn gear skin is the named cosmetic from this raid.
Female Titan raid
There are no pure Titans in this raid. Phase 1 is Annie down to the threshold, phase 2 switches to Eren, and phase 3 returns to Annie. A tunnel quick-time sequence punishes missed inputs. This is a boss-damage raid, so wave-clear skills matter less than a clean shifter window.
Colossal Titan raid
Guides require Prestige 2 and at least an A-grade average, and they describe the serum run as Aberrant. In phase 1, Bertholdt walks toward the wall and does not take normal melee, including a Titan nuke. Cannons on the wall are the damage tool until the stall ends. One writeup marks 50% as the cannon threshold. Phase 2 is the nape fight.

Arlert's Colossal stat line and nuke radius are the Family match for this raid. Fritz still helps any shifter who is allowed to transform.
After the chest
Custom boss variants are described as the source of exclusive ODM, blade, and Thunder Spear skins, with a community estimate near a 10% special spawn. That figure is an estimate. If the chest did not give a serum, the next lever is difficulty and Emperor's Trove, not another hour on Hard.
